How To Prepare for Your Water-Based Activity
We get a lot of questions asking what we recommend to prepare for your water-based activity. Before you panic, we’ve put together this really handy article and video so you can join us with no stress!
Firstly, it all depends on the weather. For when it’s hot, we recommend wearing shorts, a t-shirt and a hat to protect you from the sun. A bottle of water and some sun screen is also advised. For when it’s cold, you’re going to want to layer up, with a waterproof jacket, trousers, hat and gloves to keep yourself warm on the water. We also recommend bringing a spare change of clothes and a towel so that in the unlikely event that you do end up in the water, you’ll have some spare clothes to change into. Snacks on the water are also a good idea, and we recommend bringing fruit or chocolate as they’re a great source of energy. And finally, a couple of requirements. You must wear closed toe shoes for your activity no matter the weather so that means no sandals or flip flops. It’s also a requirement that you bring along any medication that you might need on the day.
And that’s it guys! If you have any other questions or would like to inquire, please contact our friendly office team on 01479 873283.
