Traditional Bothy Accommodation
Located in a secluded rural spot at the top of the Glenbeg Estate and a couple of miles outside Grantown-on-Spey, our Glenbeg Bunkhouse is the perfect place for a relaxing stay in traditional Scottish surroundings.
The Glenbeg Bothy is a converted steading offering snug and cosy accommodation across a single floor. The bunk-room sleeps six people comfortably, with a guest-bed also available if necessary. A spacious wetroom, suitably equipped to assist wheelchair users, adjoins the bunkroom.

The well-equipped kitchen and dining area features at the opposite end of the building and includes a wood burner and central heating to warm up after your outdoor explorations. This property has a selection of books and games, and there is a flatscreen for the playing of DVDs with a small selection already available, with the deliberate choice of no TV reception.
We welcome a range of groups to our property, from couples to stag and hen groups. The bothy is in an excellent location at one end of the Snow Roads, and a convenient stop before hitting the North Coast 500, North East 250 or Malt Whisky Trail. For walkers and paddlers, the Speyside Way passes Grantown and is an ideal stopover for Spey descents. This accommodation is a great option for groups that include those with a disability, as there is level access and free parking outside the front door.
The road to the Bunk House and Bothy becomes a farm track for the last 500m and can be challenging if there is snow and ice. If conditions are bad we will keep you informed & help you arrive safely.
