Ideally situated in the heart of The Cairngorms National Park, just a stone's throw from Grantown-on-Spey, our activity centre and dedicated residential facilities combined, make the perfect base for a school trip full of adventure! Accommodating groups of up to 50 people, your students will feel safe and comfortable in a secluded and idyllic spot amongst the Cairngorms hills.
Our pre-built residential packages are full to the brim with everything you and your students will need for a residential to remember. Accommodation, day and evening activities, catering, logistics and the extras too - all sorted for you. You won’t have to worry about a thing!

Accommodation Options
Nestled amongst the scenic hills of the Glenbeg Estate nearby to our centre, our accommodation facilities sleep up to 50 people across our fully equipped bunkhouse, bothy, cabin and bell tents.
Housing everything you need for a comfortable stay for you and your students, you’ll be sleeping in bunk house style accommodation.
Choose which accommodation facility you would like for your trip, or for large groups we can split you out across all of them!
Bunkhouse and Cabin
Sleeping 25 people, for large groups our bunkhouse will house the majority of your students. It's also home to the main kitchen and dining facilities where your group will enjoy their meals together. Our cabin sleeps an additional 4 people.
Bothy
Sitting immediately adjacent to our bunkhouse, our bothy sleeps 6 people comfortably. The bothy makes a great space for teachers to utilise seperate from students, or for those with a disability due to having disabled access, toilet and shower facilities.
Bell Tents
In the gardens of the bunkhouse we're also able to set up our large and roomy bell tents for those that require a little extra space. Each bell tent sleeps up to 7 students and we'll provide you with roll mats too.

45 x P7 pupils had a fantastic time at Cairngorms Activities, experiencing archery and problem-solving activities. Instructors were great and clearly explained tasks and encouraged all to participate and reach their potential. A super place to visit to develop outdoor education within schools. Will be in touch about repeating this next year!
"Mini Highland Games!"
I went to Cairngorms Activities last month with my french classmates while we were on a school trip in Scotland. We had a fantastic time and really enjoyed the Mini Highland Games! Great ambience, friendly and dynamic staff, funny trials. Again, thank you to the team for their kindness. Would definitely come back next time I go to Scotland!
